I am excited today as I just received my "Planes of the Face Artist Reference Mask" by PCF Studios Inc. This thing is heavy! I love it. Hopefully, I will begin to understand how light reflects off the face and how it creates it's many shadows.

My first attempt.

I didn't make the eyes dark enough. I always have trouble with the nose and I believe the nose really makes the person look like the person. So when I drew this I was really focus. I think I hit the mark. I made some discoveries about the nose. Things I never realized before.



This week I will be trying different angles and lighting.
