I went into Dreams East and I found this statue, sitting on the shelf. I had just started a new adventure.... designing my website and getting an art consultant. I had made a promise that this year would be the year to live my life's dream to the fullest....or at least take steps in that direction.
So I was looking for statues to paint and Dream East, being one of my favorite places to visit. I found myself being draw to a statue behind the cashier's shelf, Ganesha. Not fully understanding the belief behind Ganesha, but knowing I wanted to paint him. I purchase it and here he is......a work in progress.
