After a long rest from this painting, I went back to paint the blue Ganesha. I been experimenting with color, technique and value. After working on several landscape paintings, I have been incorporating what I learned into this painting. Just working in blue has taught me lot, which in turn, I hope to incorporate in my landscapes. This was just a practice and was done on canvas board. I am going to add a few more details. Then call it quits so that I can do a new Ganesha on a hardboard.

Come visit me on Yessy.com for prints and original paintings for sale.

Quite good for "just a practice" - looks like a finished work to me! Great value study - looks 3D.

Beautiful! I went to see your site, you have a lot of great paintings there. Love your style and subjects. My favourite was "fish and pancakes", but it was difficult to choose a favourite : ) !
