Well this is a quiet Fall and a late posting. I was at the the Bayard Arboretum 2 weeks ago...it was a beautiful 60 degrees. I sat down to begin but realized how much the tree changed. 
The tree I had started to paint was full of green leaves.... when I went back...Gone... Was I gone that long?
The leaves in the Bayard Arboretum are gorgeous this year. Vibrant yellows, reds, orange, greens and browns.

I enjoyed your observations on the state of the leaves over time passing and your presence. Your photos are wonderful, especially the tall trees looking upward, nice perspective.
